CrossFit - Fitness for Men & Women

CrossFit is the principal strength and conditioning program for many police and fire departments,  military special operations units, champion martial artists, and hundreds of other elite and professional athletes worldwide. Is CrossFit for you? Absolutely!  Your needs and the Olympic athlete’s differ by degree not kind. The very same methods that elicit optimal response in the Olympic athlete or our Nation’s heroes in harms way will optimize the same response in the sedentary, overweight and the elderly.

CrossFit is designed to optimize physical competence in each of ten recognized fitness domains:

The CrossFit Program was developed to enhance an individual’s competency at all physical tasks. Training is designed to perform successfully at multiple, diverse, and randomized physical challenges. The program is designed for universal scalability making it the perfect application for any committed individual regardless of experience. We’ve used our same routines for elderly individuals with heart disease and cage fighters one month out from televised bouts. We scale load and intensity; we don’t change programs. CrossFit is distinctive, if not unique, in its focus on maximizing neuroendocrine response, developing power, cross-training with multiple training modalities, constant training and practice with functional movements.

Here at American Fight Club, we scale the program to any level of fitness so that anyone can participate and benefit from the program. This is an intense physical workout that will challenge you, but we will teach you that you can set goals and meet these challenges head-on while maximizing your fitness.
