Haganah is the Hebrew word for “defense”, and this system is a complete Israeli combative methodology based on Israeli martial arts and Israeli military tactics combining the best of the best of combat-proven Israeli fighting and defense strategies. Haganah incorporates 4 different Israeli systems – Krav Maga, the main Israeli defense system, and Hisardut, KAPAP, LOTAR which are the Israeli aggressive systems. Its integrated structure is the key to its effectiveness.

Haganah was designed not only be effective, but to be relatively quick and easy to learn and apply in extreme situations. This is achieved by comprehensive and systematic training that anyone - regardless of size, strength, or previous martial art experience, can successfully develop in order to defeat any adversary, even those at an advantage. Its uniqueness lies in its simplicity - what works, and what works best.

Haganah Principles

  • Avoid getting hit.
  • Don't be fancy.
  • Defend yourself in the quickest, safest and most effective way. 
  • Use the opponent’s vulnerable and weak points.
  • Don't rely on strength.
  • Use available objects as weapons.
  • If forced to fight, no rules, no limits.
This combat-proven self-defense system is used by military and law enforcement, and is therefore the ideal martial art for anybody wishing to defend themselves. It consists of fitness and conditioning components; hand-to-hand methods, empty hand-vs.-knife and empty hand-vs.-gun techniques; tactical knife fighting; and combat shooting.

Haganah is a unique system that is continuously enhanced and refined. The Israeli Defense Force periodically updates its hand-to-hand and other combat techniques based upon its daily combat experience.

Here at American Fight Club you will learn how to defend yourself with automatic and effective precision, and you will develop the self-confidence necessary to carry out the techniques should a situation arise that necessitates their use.
